A Physician Directed MS-DRG Review Company
About Us

History of DRG Review, Inc.

Founded in 1988, DRG Review, Inc. is backed with years of industry experience. DRG Review, Inc. was developed after William Haik, M.D. F.C.C.P, C.D.I.P., realized the clinical outcomes of his severely ill patients were not being accurately reflected by ICD-9-CM code reporting. His concern was shared by Garry Huff, M.D.,CCS, and Eleanor McCain, M.D., CCS. Together, they became involved in working with government regulatory bodies to redefine existing ICD-9-CM codes and aid in the development of new ICD-9-CM codes and coding guidelines to more accurately reflect clinical medicine.

DRG Review, Inc. provides medical record coding quality assessments and educational programs for acute short term care hospitals which help ensure accurate code reporting and optimal case-mix.
